We are pleased to announce that $67,550.00 dollars in grants have been distributed through the annual Community Grants program. The funds will support sixty-three (63) local projects, events, and programs happening in Cambridge and North Dumfries. The programs are made possible through Field of Interest funds, the Smart & Caring Community Funds within the Foundation.
The Cambridge & North Dumfries Foundation would like to recognize these organizations, programs, and the fundholders that contributed to the community grants.

“I want to commend our Community Grants Committee for their efforts and dedication through our review and selection process. With many new faces around the table, these community leaders committed their time and energy to ask all the right questions, make in-person visits to agencies and they collaborated together to make the greatest impact for our community with the dollars we had!” – Adriana Van Oostveen, Grants and Operation Coordinator at Cambridge & North Dumfries Community Foundation.
These small grants provide support to our community in many different ways. These grants support returning projects to help them to continue to grow year to year, they support new programs and projects to serve the evolving needs of our community. All of these grants aid in supporting the organizations and agencies to continue to do the amazing work they do.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of CNDCF, congratulations to all the local organizations and their proposed projects! We are looking forward to seeing all you accomplish this year!
About the Community Grants Program
The annual Community Grants is a small grants program that helps provide support to valuable and creative ideas happening in the local community. Although a wide range of interests may be considered for funding, the Community Grants program prioritizes local projects involved in promoting arts & culture; recreation for children and youth; activities for children and youth at risk; early literacy; and environmental causes.
